Q1 2024 Performance of Top Shooter Games on Android in Latin America

Latin America's Android gaming landscape saw varied performances among the top shooter games in the first quarter of 2024. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the ups and downs in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these competitive titles.

Garena's Free Fire started strong with 1.4M downloads in the first week, before dipping and then peaking at nearly 1.9M in late January. Revenue trends showed a slight decline from $659K to $533K over the quarter, while weekly active users saw an initial drop from 58M to 53M, recovering to 58M by the quarter's end.

NetEase's Blood Strike - FPS for all had an impressive quarter. Downloads surged from 447K to 841K, and the game's revenue grew from $28K to $56K. Weekly active users more than doubled, starting at 1.2M and reaching 2.5M by the end of March.

Activision's Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 showed a consistent pattern. Downloads hovered around the 250K to 330K mark, while revenue dropped from $347K to $230K before slightly rising to $253K. The game maintained a solid active user base, starting at 3M and ending the quarter at 2.8M.

Brazil's Wildlife Studios' Sniper 3D:Gun Shooting Games experienced a decline in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads started at 310K, dropping to 187K before a slight increase to 226K, while active users decreased from 1.35M to 1.1M. Revenue fluctuated, beginning at $12K and ending at $9K.

Lastly, Activision's newly released Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile had a monumental rise in downloads post-launch, skyrocketing from 6.6K to 2.6M. Revenue also saw a massive increase in the last two weeks, from $3K to $63K. Weekly active users grew significantly, starting at 44K and reaching over 2.3M after its release.
